Happy New Year! With the new year comes new resolutions. Setting a New Year resolution is easy, but sticking to it is difficult. So it’s important to pick reasonable and realistic resolutions that you can build on.
Write down your goals
Write down your resolutions and set daily goals to achieve these resolution. If you sign up for a gym membership create a workout regime you can follow and tick off once your done. This will make you accountable to the things you want to accomplish while at the gym. It will also motivate you to check them off your list of things to do. The easiest way is to download an app on your phone and check things off on the go.
Set small goals you can build up on. If you plan on writing a novel, set a goal of achieving 100 pages first. Once you’ve achieved writing 100 pages you can build up on adding even more pages towards completing a novel.
Talk about your goals
Share your resolution among your friends and family members because they will keep you accountable.
Every milestone deserves a reward, so celebrate each milestone. This will keep you motivated along the way.
TIP: If you have work benefits that cover massage therapy you should use them as they expire every year. This would be one of the best ways to reward yourself for self care.
Also don’t forget to use your flexible spending accounts because the money that you put into that account expires at the end of the year.

Remember: “If you fail, never give up because F.A.I.L. means “first Attempt In Learning […] End is not the end, if fact E.N.D. means ‘Effort Never Dies'”
