Arrival
10–15 minutes early
Park out front and head into reception. We will hand you a short intake form covering health history, current concerns, and anything we should know — pregnancy, recent surgeries, sensitivities, allergies. Take your time.
A clear walk-through of what happens, what to bring, what to wear, and how to make the most of your time on the table. No mystery, no awkwardness — just a calm hour off the clock.
A massage or facial should feel calm before it even begins. We try hard to remove the small uncertainties that can make a first visit stressful — what to wear, where to park, when to arrive, what to say.
A typical first visit, start to finish. The session itself is the longest part — most people are in and out in 75 to 90 minutes total.

5 minutes
Your therapist or esthetician will walk you back, review the intake with you, and ask what you are hoping to get out of the session. Mention sore spots, areas to avoid, pressure preferences, and how much chatting you want.
2–3 minutes
They will leave the room while you undress to your comfort level and get under the sheet — face-up or face-down, they will tell you which. Take a breath. There is a knock before they come back in.
60 or 90 minutes
You will be draped throughout — only the area being worked on is uncovered. Speak up about pressure, temperature, music, or anything else any time. There are no wrong questions and no awkward asks.
5 minutes
Your therapist will let you know the session is complete and step out so you can dress at your own pace. There is water in the room and again at the front. You can ask for stretches, home-care tips, or product recs on the way out.
5 minutes
Pay at the front desk. If today felt good, we can put your next session on the calendar — many clients prefer to lock in a regular cadence so they keep the benefits going.
Massage should never feel injurious. Deep pressure can be intense, but it should not feel like a sharp pain. If anything tips into "ouch," tell your therapist immediately and we will adjust.
You are professionally draped with a sheet at all times. Only the area being worked on — say, one shoulder or one leg at a time — is uncovered, and re-covered as the therapist moves on. Underwear stays on if you prefer.
Pregnancy, recent surgery, blood-thinning medications, or chronic conditions are not necessarily reasons to skip a session — but they do change what we do. Mention them on intake. Our team is trained for prenatal, post-surgical lymphatic, and many other specialty needs.
Tell us about scent sensitivities, skin allergies, or product reactions. We can switch oils, skip aromatherapy, and use Eminence Organics products formulated for sensitive skin.
The hour on the table is the headline, but a few small habits afterward keep the benefits going. Quick guidance from our team:
