Massage / Reflexology

Reflexology

Pressure-point work on the feet that supports the whole body.

Reflexology is a focused, pressure-point therapy on the feet (and sometimes the hands and ears). The basic idea: specific points on the feet correspond to systems throughout the body, and working those points supports overall function. It is calming, often surprisingly effective for stress and sleep, and a great option if a full-body massage is not what you need that day.

Why book this

What you can expect to feel

Stress relief

A surprising amount of stress lives in your feet. Working it out has a whole-body effect.

Headache support

Many clients find reflexology eases the frequency and intensity of recurring headaches.

Sleep and digestion

Calming the nervous system through specific points often helps both — without ever touching your back.

Easy if you are sore

When the rest of your body is too tender for full massage, your feet are still fair game.

During

What to expect

You stay clothed except for shoes and socks. The therapist works the soles, sides, and tops of your feet using thumbs and fingertips. Some points are tender — that is the point, often literally. Communicate about pressure; this is meant to feel productive, not painful.
After

Aftercare

Hydrate. Some clients feel an energy lift after, others feel relaxed enough to take a nap — both are normal. Effects often build with regular sessions, so a monthly cadence is worth considering.

FAQ

Common questions

Is reflexology a real massage?
It is a distinct modality with its own training. We have a certified reflexologist on the Jefferson Blvd team with three decades of experience, and other therapists across both locations trained in it.
Will it tickle?
The pressure is firm and intentional — well past the point of tickling. Most clients find it deeply relaxing.
Do I have to undress?
No. Reflexology is done with you fully clothed, just shoes and socks off.
Can I combine it with a regular massage?
Yes — many clients add a focused 30-minute foot session to a Swedish or deep tissue massage. Mention it when booking.
